Our magnetic bearing centrifugal chillers integrate high-speed direct-drive motors with frictionless magnetic bearing technology, eliminating the need for couplings, gearboxes, and conventional mechanical bearings entirely. This integration yields a simplified design characterized by no mechanical contact, zero wear, and maximum transmission efficiency—addressing the core pain points of traditional chiller systems (e.g., mechanical friction-induced wear and complex drivetrain maintenance).
A standout advantage of these chillers lies in their exceptional energy performance: their IPLV exceeds 12.5, and they deliver a potential energy savings of 30% to 50% when compared to standard chiller systems. This energy efficiency is further enhanced by the chiller’s two-stage compressor design, which incorporates inter-stage injection technology. Relative to traditional screw compressors or single-stage centrifugal compressors, this design boosts aerodynamic efficiency by 5% to 10%. More importantly, it expands the operational range, ensuring stable performance even under fluctuating load conditions.

Consistently High Thermal Performance
- By eliminating mechanical friction and consequently obviating the need for lubricating oil, the chiller units achieve smooth operation. Simultaneously, the adoption of advanced heat exchange tubes increases turbulence, which improves heat transfer—this design sustains optimal efficiency over the long term.

The unit generates no noise from mechanical friction and is equipped with air cushions to isolate vibration. The compressor noise is below 77 dB(A), which eliminates the need for shock pads, spring shock absorbers, or soundproof enclosures.

Enhanced Protection
- Unlike conventional screw chillers, which have a starting current of up to 200A to 600A, the magnetic bearing inverter centrifugal chiller adopts soft start technology, reducing its starting current to a mere 6A. This extremely low starting current results in minimal impact on the power grid, eliminating the need for special protection measures.
